From there, the dice are rolled to determine how long and in which direction a group is moving. In the meantime, all experiences are noted down. After half an hour this phase is finished.<br>The installation is a room ensemble in a seminar room at the university. A wooden slat frame is covered with a black tarpaulin while the passages as well as the rear projection surface and the window in room 2 are covered with matt transparent film. The loudspeakers are located above the suspended ceiling which was also covered in black tarpaulin. Small spots of light illuminate the photos, pacifiers, and the shelf with various utensils.<br>Room 1 depicts a four-person car journey using a projection. You can hear a spoken composition on the subject of driving by the Conservatorium van Amsterdam (CvA).<br>Room 2 is laid out with autumn leaves. In four white ceramic bowls stand some rainwater. It is quiet. On one wall is a large photo of a deserted place on a large-traffic island.<br>Room 3 is dominated by two infrared heaters installed above. Loud noises from arriving and departing subways can be heard. Photos show dirty walls sprayed with graffiti. On the floor are colorful plastic pacifiers that were sold in exactly the same way in one of the subway shafts.<br>Room 4 contains a shelf full of consumer goods. There are commercials promoting these products. It was about re-evaluating sensory experience by questioning the underlying layer of experience.<br>All human senses and forms of human communication are used. The actions and materials used are based on the autobiographical experiences of the two actors. First, the interior was paced and felt, then the resonance tone was sought and found. A power cable is stretched around four pillars in the center of the room around the objects that are brought along, the ATARI computer, video projector, and loudspeaker are supplied with power and switched on.<br>This creates a special space within the space. The following other items are located here: <br>1 colorful electric light chain, 1 table, 2 chairs, 1 ladder, 1 zinc tub, 1 porcelain bowl, various plaster bandages, 1 packet of disinfectant, a container filled with water, 1 backpack, 1 sleeping bag, 1 straw hat, 1 US license plate, 1 box with oval-shaped Oriental cigarettes, matches in a box, 1 ashtray, 1 jar of peanut butter, a disk with computer-generated music and sound recordings of steam trains from the 50s and 60s, A4 sheets of paper with short texts written on them, a Blackboard, chalk and 1 Jade Buddha. These objects were distributed in the performance space according to the four cardinal points.<br>The multimedia performance consists of twelve consecutive sections. Each section completes a chart on the board.<br>The performative process also includes the use of sound and image media. It is based on the feelings that the two actors assign to the different global directions in the context of their life experiences.<br>In short, the north stands for the creation of theoretical order. The South for physicality, suffering, or sexual experiences. The West for technical dominance, delusion, and alienated action. The East for pausing, meditative action.<br>During each section of the performance, a central diagram is completed on the chalkboard and one of the twelve pieces of paper with a short text is attached to the area demarcated with a power cable, corresponding to the four cardinal points.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-medium\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"201\"
